WPO WEST JAVA REGION ATTENDS SUMEDANG DAY CELEBRATION

SUMEDANG, WEST JAVA – The World Peace Organization West Java Region participated in the Sumedang Day celebration alongside KDM Regional West Java, demonstrating its commitment to preserving culture and promoting peace at the regional level.

The WPO West Java delegation was led directly by Regional Director of the World Peace Organization West Java Region, HE Arya Sukma Bayanata, accompanied by Prof. Syahiddin.

HE Arya Sukma Bayanata affirmed:

“Sumedang is a heritage land of extraordinary historical and cultural value. I am here in person for Sumedang Day because this is a real embodiment of the Peace is Action philosophy. Peace begins with honoring cultural roots, safeguarding local wisdom, and weaving collaboration among all elements of society.”

“Culture is the short path to peace. When we know each other and respect ancestral heritage, the seeds of conflict cannot grow. This is what we continue to champion across West Java,” HE Arya Sukma Bayanata added.

The Sumedang Day celebration serves as a strategic momentum for WPO West Java, under the leadership of HE Arya Sukma Bayanata, to strengthen its Cultural Education for Peace program in the Eastern Priangan region. WPO West Java Region will follow up with collaborative programs involving art communities, cultural figures, and the youth of Sumedang.

The World Peace Organization West Java Region believes that sustainable peace is built from villages, from cities, from every inch of the homeland with its own culture.
