The World Peace Organization (WPO) warmly welcomes the conclusion of the 81st United Nations General Assembly General Debate on September 30, 2026.

With 194 nations participating under the theme _"Better Together: 81 Years and More for Peace, Development and Human Rights,"_ this year's UNGA has reaffirmed that multilateralism remains the cornerstone of global peace.

WPO commends three key outcomes:

1. UN Reform: We fully support UNGA President Khalilur Rahman's commitment to lead Security Council reform. The Council must become more representative of today's geopolitical realities. As President Rahman stated, "Africa needs to be at the table, not on the menu."

2. AI for Peace: With 128 nations raising AI governance - more than any other topic - WPO calls for AI to be governed as a tool for peace and development, not for autonomous warfare.

3. Nuclear Disarmament: Following the September 29th High-Level Meeting, WPO joins the UN's call for the total elimination of nuclear weapons. A nuclear-free world is a must.

At a time of walkouts and visa restrictionsthat challenged diplomacy, WPO believes dialogue remains the only path forward.

The world is better together. Peace is a must.
