WPO Proud as President Inaugurated as Vice President of PERADI PROFESSIONAL for 2026–2031 Term

Jakarta, 9 May 2026 – The World Peace Organization (WPO) expresses its highest pride and congratulations on the inauguration of WPO President, Prof. Dr. H. Bambang Herry Purnomo, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., as Vice President of Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia Profesional (PERADI PROFESSIONAL) for the 2026–2031 term.

The National Board of PERADI PROFESSIONAL was officially inaugurated on Friday, 8 May 2026, at the Grand Ballroom of Fairmont Hotel Jakarta. The event marks a significant step for the legal organization in strengthening professionalism, ethics, and integrity within Indonesia’s legal landscape.

PERADI PROFESSIONAL, legally recognized by the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia through Decree No. http://AHU-0000086.AH.01.07 Year 2026, was founded by three advocate-academicians: Harris Arthur Hedar, Fauzie Yusuf Hasibuan, and Abdul Latif. The organization was publicly declared on 5 March 2026 at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta.

Chairperson of PERADI PROFESSIONAL, Harris Arthur Hedar, emphasized that the organization was established not to compete, but to respond to the collective concern for restoring dignity to the legal profession as officium nobile. He noted that the profession currently faces challenges including declining public trust, organizational fragmentation, and legal gaps arising from rapid digital transformation.

In its declaration, PERADI PROFESSIONAL reaffirmed its commitment to integrity in legal practice. Renowned speaker Das’ad Latif stressed that advocates must balance intellect with moral values in upholding justice proportionally and precisely.

The World Peace Organization welcomes this appointment as a strategic bridge between the pursuit of global peace and the enforcement of ethical legal practice. As Vice President of PERADI PROFESSIONAL and President of WPO, Prof. Bambang Herry Purnomo embodies the synergy of law, ethics, and peacebuilding.
