The Grand Si Mien Fo Ceremony: A Celebration of Splendor and Sacredness

Pantai Indah Kapuk, November 9, 2025 - The Grand Si Mien Fo Ceremony, a momentous occasion that brings together Buddhists from far and wide, was held with great fanfare at Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta. The event, which commemorates the revered Si Mien Fo, drew an impressive gathering of nearly 10,000 devotees, all eager to partake in the sacred rituals and festivities.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including 40 Bhikkhu Sangha led by the Venerable Bhante Kanit Sannano Mahathera, Director of Buddhist Affairs and Education, Director General of Buddhism, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Head of the Buddhist Community Guidance, DKI Jakarta, Members of the DKI Jakarta Regional Parliament, and prominent leaders from Sedayu Group, Salim Group, and various Buddhist Councils and Temples.

The ceremony was meticulously led by Deputy VP for Finance and Budgeting, KRT Romo Asun Gotama, M.H., who is also the Secretary General of DPP Majubuthi. His eloquent words and profound insights added depth and meaning to the occasion.

Dr. Bambang Herry Purnomo, SH, MH, President of WPO, extended his warm congratulations and appreciation to the organizers of this magnificent event.
