Sofyan Firdaus, S.T. Receives the Melati Badge, WPO Gives Appreciation for 30 Years of Service in Scouting

BANDUNG – Another proud achievement has been made by one of the best Scout leaders in West Java. Kak Sofyan Firdaus, S.T. a Civil Servant at Kodiklat TNI AD, has officially received the highest award, the Melati Badge, in a scouting activity in Bandung Regency.

This award was given as a form of appreciation for his dedication of more than 30 years of service to the Scout Movement. His consistency and exemplary conduct have made him a role model for fellow Scout leaders and students.

Currently, Kak Sofyan Firdaus is active as a Scout leader at SMP Penida, SMK Penida, and SMA Angkasa Lanud Sulaiman. Amid his duties as a civil servant, he remains committed to building the character of the younger generation with discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of nationalism.

On the same occasion, President of the World Peace Organization (WPO) Prof. Dr. H. Bambang Herry Purnomo, S.H., M.H. together with all members of the board, extended their congratulations and highest appreciation to Kak Sofyan Firdaus for receiving the Melati Badge.

"We from the World Peace Organization congratulate Kak Sofyan Firdaus. Thirty years of service in Scouting is real proof of building peace through character education. WPO fully supports every effort that strengthens scouting values in Indonesia," said a representative of WPO West Java.

Kak Sofyan Firdaus is also known as the mentor of H.E. Arya Sukma Bayanata, Regional Director for World Peace Organization West Java Region. The synergy between the world of Scouting and this international peace organization is expected to further strengthen youth development in Bandung Regency and its surroundings.

It is hoped that the conferment of the Melati Badge will motivate other Scout leaders to continue contributing and serving for the progress of the nation.
