This meeting marks a strategic step in promoting robotics as a structured, competitive community sport that aligns with current technological developments. PRSI has consistently pushed to transform robotics from a purely educational field into a competition-based sport with a tiered coaching and championship system.
During the meeting, KORMI leadership expressed appreciation for PRSI’s active role in building an inclusive and sustainable national robotics ecosystem.
KORMI National Chairman Adil Hakim affirmed that PRSI’s development direction aligns with the broader vision for community sports in Indonesia.
“KORMI fully supports and recognizes that the work undertaken by PRSI is in line with the spirit of developing community sports that adapt to the times. We are also open to strengthening collaboration and synergy to advance robotics as part of the national sports ecosystem,” he stated.
PRSI Chairman Wahyu Hidayat emphasized that this momentum is a crucial foundation for strengthening robotics within the national sports structure.

“Robotics is not just about technology, but also about competition, strategy, and talent development. With KORMI’s support, we are increasingly optimistic that robotics can grow into a sport of the future capable of producing Indonesia’s next generation of excellence,” he said.
PRSI also underscored the importance of building an integrated national robotics competition ecosystem, from the regional to the national level, as part of its long-term strategy. This initiative is part of the larger “Robotics for the Nation” program, which aims to expand access and ensure equitable robotics education across Indonesia.
The audience also paved the way for stronger collaboration between PRSI and KORMI in organizing events, competitions, and community development programs in various regions.
Through this step, PRSI reaffirmed its commitment to establishing robotics as one of Indonesia’s leading sports while strengthening its contribution to shaping a young generation that is innovative, competitive, and ready to face global challenges toward Golden Indonesia 2045.
