PRSI-FIRA Indonesia Holds Official Meeting with Philippine Embassy to Succeed International Robosport Tournament 2025

Jakarta, The Indonesian Robotics Association (PRSI) held an official meeting with representatives of the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta to discuss strategic cooperation to succeed the international robotics competition to be held in Indonesia in June. The meeting, which took place at the Philippine Embassy, was attended by PRSI Chairman Wahyu Hidayat and his management team, as well as official representatives from the Philippine Embassy led by Gonaranao B. Musor, Minister and Consul General and accompanied by Ms Rady Dela Cruz. 25/04/2025
During the meeting, both parties discussed various important aspects, including the participation of robotics teams from the Philippines, visa and logistics facilitation for participants, and joint promotional efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of technology, education, and sports. WPO, represented by HE Yenny Agoestian, fully supports this program. It is expected that cooperation with the Philippines can serve as an example for other countries in building international cooperation through robotics and technology, as a form of peace through education and technology.
"We welcome the enthusiasm of the Philippine Embassy in supporting this event. This cooperation not only strengthens inter-country relations but also promotes the advancement of young people in the field of robotics sports, technology, and innovation," said PRSI Chairman.
Meanwhile, the representative of the Philippine Embassy expressed its commitment to support the smooth participation of the Philippine team and to make this competition a positive cultural and scientific exchange event.
This international robotics competition is scheduled to take place in June 2025 and will be attended by more than 6 countries. PRSI targets this event to be one of the largest in Southeast Asia, with full support from various parties, including international partners like the Philippine Embassy.
