Jakarta, Indonesia - On the occasion of International Peace Day on September 21, 2025, various calls for unity and global peace have been echoed. World Peace Organization (WPO) President Dr. Bambang Herry Purnomo SH MH emphasized the importance of tolerance, understanding, and cooperation among nations to achieve lasting peace.

"We can be different, but we all want peace," Dr. Bambang said in his declaration. He called on all parties to work together to build a more peaceful and harmonious world through the initiative "Declaration of Peace: A Small Step Towards a Greater Global Peace".

Secretary General Dr. Mari Paus MM added that empathy and understanding are crucial in building a more peaceful and inclusive world. "Together for Peace without Violence and Discrimination" is a call to action for individuals, communities, and nations to work together towards a world where everyone can live without fear of violence and discrimination.

Education also plays a vital role in promoting peace. Through education, young people can gain a deeper understanding of human rights, appreciate the importance of tolerance, and develop the skills to become wise and just leaders. "Connecting Through Education, Growing in Peace" is the key to creating a more harmonious world.

Peace is also likened to a garden that requires care and maintenance. "Cultivating Harmony, Nurturing Peace" is a joint effort to create a world where harmony and peace flourish, and every individual can thrive.

With cooperation and commitment, we can create a more peaceful and harmonious world. Let's continue to strive for promoting peace and harmony around the world.
