Building Peace Together, Harmony for All: WPO Commemorates World Peace Day

Jakarta, Indonesia - The World Peace Organization (WPO) commemorates World Peace Day on September 21, 2025, by inviting the global community to promote peace and harmony. According to WPO, peace is not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of compassion, understanding, and respect for one another.

"Every small act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every step towards empathy builds a world where harmony can thrive," said WPO President, Dr. Bambang Herry Purnomo SH MH.

Dr. Haleema Yezdani from WPO India added that promoting peace and harmony is crucial in building a peaceful society. "We hope that this World Peace Day commemoration will inspire many people to promote peace and harmony in India and around the world," said Dr. Haleema.

WPO calls on individuals, communities, and nations to choose dialogue over division, hope over despair, and humanity over differences. "Peace begins within us - let's nurture it in our hearts and reflect it in our actions," added Dr. Bambang.
